Marissa M. Madruga is an Associate Counsel at The Joseph Firm, P.A. Marissa has handles every aspect of case management and client representation from strategy development and conducting legal research to motion practice, settlement negotiations, mediations, and trial preparation. Marissa’s legal experience also includes clerkships with various respected members of the judiciary, where she gained valuable sight into judicial decision-making and courtroom procedures. Earlier in her legal career, she spent nearly a decade in various litigation support roles, including as a legal secretary, paralegal, and litigation assistant. These experiences equipped her with a strong foundation in case organization, trial preparation, and client relations. Skills she continues to draw upon as an attorney. 

Marissa earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
