Selena Stewart brings a dynamic blend of academic excellence, hands-on experience, and client-centered advocacy to her role as Law Clerk at The Joseph Firm, P.A. She supports attorneys through all phases of family law litigation and resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and memoranda, conducting legal research, assisting with case strategy, preparing discovery and evidentiary summaries, and supporting mediation, collaborative law matters, and trial preparation. A recent graduate of Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, Selena has focused her legal training on family law, combining intellectual rigor with genuine compassion to help guide families through complex transitions with clarity and care.
Selena's experience includes serving in the Collaborative Family Law Clinic at Barry Law, where she represented clients in divorce and custody matters, as well as volunteering as a Guardian ad Litem in Seminole County, advocating for the best interests of children in legal proceedings. She has also gained litigation experience in personal injury law and contributed to pro bono research initiatives addressing housing instability.
Selena earned her Juris Doctor in December 2025 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Valdosta State University. She is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator, a Certified Guardian ad Litem, and holds certifications in collaborative family law and advanced legal research. Her background reflects a consistent commitment to advocacy and a passion for supporting families with thoughtful, strategic legal guidance.
